crazy days

So I realize that everything is always crazy here. Especially the days that I update. THURSDAYS! I really dread this day becuase it's crunch time for everything. Today we get to use the internet. As in we pay some mulah and only have an hour or so to get EVERYTHING done. It's a little stressful. BUT today has been encouraging because some needed information on my end was addressed. So anything that I may have been stressed about that is within the states is getting handled. YAY.

Please Check out this video Kirk made of our trip thusfar:

Okay,I wanted to tell you all that spiritually things have been really wonderful here. I don't know if any recall (or can look back at previous blogs to see) that spiritually, and really all around, last semester was ROUGH! But being here has been such a beautiful time of rekindling my relationship with the Lord. He is good. I remember when JP (Jessica Prater)[soon to be JW-J DUBBS! TOMORROW- Congratulations my beautiful friend!] had told me about how she never knew FAITH until she came to south africa. I can totally aggree! I have learned so much about my relationship with Him. And being here has just been so amazing. Seeing God move in this nation and my heart is thrilling.

Last week we went to a refugee camp to volunteer. It was really enlightning to go. it made me think about the future. But everything here is. To see these people and children that had to flee there own country, and then have to stay in camps to keep from persecution in SA... gosh it's just rough. Children without shoes. Men begging for trousers. It's hard. I wish I had pictures but I forgot my camera :( So please check out the CCP blog to see some pics.

On a lighter note. We thought our kumbi broke down (for a third time) and so we had one crazy night of trying to jump start it. ]

It was somewhat humorous but then VERY funny when we realized we just had to immobolize it (a security precaution here in SA) and the car was fine.

Another pic of the city
